Colin Peppard is a director from Monaghan, based between Belfast and Dublin. His work spans across documentaries, music videos and commercials. Colin’s debut documentary, My Friend, Kev, won Best Short Documentary at the Galway Film Fleadh 2026, qualifying for Academy Award® consideration. The film was also selected for BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival, several other Irish festivals, an Electric Picnic screening alongside a Q&A with CNN's Donie O'Sullivan and was awarded a Rising Talent Award from Kerry International Film Festival. Colin’s documentary-style music video, following a Harry Styles tribute in Benidorm, was nominated for Best Rock Video UK and Best Low Budget Video at the prestigious UKMVAs. The video also featured on Directors’ Library, Rage ABC and Promonews, along with a full interview on Director’s Notes. Colin is currently developing the music video into his debut feature documentary, Close Enough. Colin also won Best New Talent and was awarded Best Rock Video in 2025 and 2026 at the Kinsale Shark Awards. Colin’s new short documentary, Muscle Bound, is having its world premiere at Cork International Film Festival.
