Colin Peppard is a director from Monaghan. His work spans across documentaries, music videos and commercials. Colin’s debut documentary, My Friend, Kev, won Best Short Documentary at the Galway Film Fleadh 2026, qualifying for Academy Award® consideration. The film was also selected for BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival, The Irish Film Institute Documentary Festival and a special screening at Electric Picnic alongside a Q&A with CNN's Donie O'Sullivan.

Colin won a Kinsale Shark Award for Best Rock Video consecutively in 2025 and 2026, he was chosen as a finalist for the NeXt Documentary Fellowship, picked up a Special Mention at the Emerging Directors Awards, won Silver for Most Promising Music Video Director at the Creative Circle Awards and his next short documentary, Muscle Bound, was chosen for the Final Frame Fund by OkayStudio. His documentary-style music video, following a Harry Styles tribute in Benidorm, featured on Directors’ Library, Rage ABC and Promonews, along with a full interview on Director’s Notes. Colin is currently in development on his debut feature documentary, Close Enough.
