Colin Peppard is a director from Monaghan, based between Belfast and Dublin. His work spans across documentaries, commercials and music videos with clients including Sony, CitizenM, Square and Alter Music. His work has received recognition at the Young Arrows, Belfast Film Festival, EDA Awards, DIFF, Sunrise Film Festival, Kerry Film Festival, Louth Film Festival, 1.4 Awards and the Berlin Commercial Awards.
Colin was the chosen recipient for the Clones Film Festival Short Film Fund in 2024, directing his first funded short film, 'Mile 24'. He was selected for the Odense Film Festival’s Talent Camp 2025, supported by the National Talent Academies, and won a Kinsale Shark Award for Best Rock Video. In 2026, he was a finalist for the NeXt Documentary Fellowship, picked up a Special Mention at the EDA Awards, is nominated for Best New Director at the Kinsale Shark Awards, and has completed two short documentaries, 'My Friend, Kev' and 'Muscle Bound', hitting festivals this summer. Colin is developing his debut documentary feature, Close Enough, about the tribute artist scene in Benidorm, produced by Rowdy Pig and Kit’n’Kat Productions.
